Along the Panther Ridge Trail #1253 in the Wild Rogue Wilderness. A long drive but a nice easy hike with only a slight elevation change to a great view at Hanging Rock.
From Powers, the drive will take you through the Powers Ranger District of the Rogue River - Siskiyou NF. Follow the 33 road south of town and take the 3348 towards Glendale. The Panther Ridge Trailhead is off of the 5520-140 (3rd sign from the south, 2nd from the north). The last leg of the trail to the cache goes through part of the 2005 Blossom Fire.
Cache contains typical contents with a special item for the first finder. I also threw in some petrified wood that I polished and a couple unpolished ones.
Enjoy the view! Keep ahold of the kiddies though - its a long drop. Cache is a very safe distance from the edge though.
