Geocache Description:


Look for the historical marker set in a huge rock about the history of Fort Saint Joseph. The cache is a short distance behind it in the woods. Dense foliage but if you look hard, you can find an overgrown path. You're looking for a small camo-taped round container with a few small trade items and log book. I had some difficulty marking this location due to tree cover. My first mark was 30 feet off and my second one was 10 feet off, which is what I used for the coordinates above because it was the best I could get. Not many people visit this historic place so you should be able to pull off the road and park near it.
