Beer goggles are a sad substitute for a good pair of Irish Eyes.
When you decide between the appetizer, the main course and your refreshment, it’s best to keep your Irish Eyes close at hand. And it’s definitely best to take them with you when you leave. Trust me. When Paddler Found and I hit the last of the three local spots that are all related and all great places to be, we enjoyed a lot of smiles and a great night sitting on the docks watching the mullet flip across the moonlit waters.
Of course it was all fun and games until we realized that she left her Irish Eyes (her GLASSES!) sitting on the table when we departed. After a few hours of stress those Irish Eyes were recovered and back where they belonged. WHEW!!! And what better way to celebrate the occasion then mark the spot with a little micro cache.
When you find this spot you may want to stick around a while, especially if you decide to spend some time on the deck around sunset. And the tree cover might play some games with your GPS so use your geosenses if necessary. If you need a little “assistance” with the menu, be sure to pack things up when you leave. But come to think about it, that would be a great reason to return the next day. Hmmmm... maybe we’ll see you there.
This is a micro cache and where it’s hidden may have some ants around so be careful when you hunt, retrieve and re-hide the cache. And it is a micro so be sure to bring your own pen. The log may have a different name, but without your Irish Eyes you'll never notice :O)
Enjoy,
