Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop -Alice in Wonderland.
Your journey begins in the small car park where the National Park and Pechy roads meet. There are two waypoints to find on the way...both are in small plastic containers. The actual cache is in a normal sized plastic container. There is a prize for FTF (a book quotes!)
CAUTION: Parts of this walk can be slippery when wet and there are some steep bits-be careful with kids!
Cross the little bridge, then your climb begins. There are many paths to the top of the mountain. The rocky track will lead you upwards; at the first fork you can go either way. If you take the left fork (the rocky track that continues straight up the hill) you can follow the path most of the way..when the waypoint seems to be adjacent head straight up the hill. If you take the right fork which follows Jane Brook, a bit further on you can see a large granite rock further up the hill. This is quite a good way to go as the rock is worth checking out. The waypoint will be dead ahead. Once you get to the top you will find a path behind the rocks (part of the Eagle Walk Trail). Follow the path to the right which will take you back down into the valley.
At the sign of the Eagle go with the flow.
Hope you enjoy this walk, there are lots of interesting rocks and bush and you can usually see blue wrens. WP1 and WP2 are small 9cm x 6cm x 4cm plastic containers. GZ is a normal sized plastic container. This is my first cache so I would appreciate any feedback!
