4-step multi cache. Bring paper and pencil.
This is a great new bike path. If biking from town is too far, drive out and bring your bikes, park near the first coordinates, and bike from there. At the first set of coordinates, sit on the bench and look around. You’ll see a green and white sign nearby. The number of S’s in the sign = A The number of E’s in the sign = B The number of vowels in the sign, minus 1 = C The total number of letters in the sign = D Using Roman Numerals, The number represented by the 6th letter in the sign = E The number represented by the 7th letter in the sign = F *(If you need a Roman numeral refresher, see below) Your next set of coordinates is: N 61°05.EAB W 146°1F.DFC Sit on this bench and have a look. When the salmon are running and when the tide is coming in, bears often visit the cove on the other side of the road. Look way back where the stream comes through the tall grasses and see if you can spot some black ears where the grass moves. Now count the number of bolts on the top of the bench = G Your third coordinates are: N 61°05.AEB W 146°1G.CGA Sit on the bench here, and you may see a fair number of nesting and feeding birds. When the salmon are running, seals and sea lions mill around in the water, choosing the best salmon to eat. Look at the yellow and black sign. There are 4 words on the sign. Add the number of letters in the first and fourth words = H Add the number of letters in the second and third words = J Subtract H from J = K Your final coordinates are: N 61°05.01A W 146°18.KEA Cache is a green waterbottle with log, pencil, and a variety of treasures.
