A 10 kms.There and back walk from Old Glossop on tracks, grassy paths and open moorland. Height gain approx. 400 mtrs.
Follow the route to my cache 'Dog Rock' and then proceed over the open moorland for a further 900mts to 'John Track Well'. There is a fair bit of shelter from the elements and makes a good coffee stop. If you want a good all round flog over Bleaklow and back to Glossop proceed to my other caches at 'Bleaklow Head' and 'Shelf Benches' this overall walk is about 14kms. ( for experienced hill walkers only)
This is hidden close to a path so please ensure the cache is pushed right back into it's hiding place out of view of passers by and firmly wedged into position with the covering stone. Due to the remote nature of the location, help with replacing wet logs books etc is always welcomed.
