mfr751: Howdy all. I went out to find this one today, and I think our recent storms got this one. We had some flooding recently and high winds in this spot.
This area was too close to our flood plain anyway.
I may put out another somewhere else in the Center.

Geocache Description:

On the grounds of the Closter Nature Center. Relatively flat terrain in a wooded wetland. The hike is easy, but it can get wet at times. Please respect the Nature Center & check out our website too! Thanks. :) I am often there on the weekends. You can use FRS radio channel 2 - No Code. **

Greetings all. This is my 1st cache, so I put in a very nice goody. I also included some trail maps, and a couple of park books from the Audubon. There's also a 'loupe' magnifying glass. Because this cache is on the Closter Nature Center property, I simply ask that all visitors please respect our beloved center. Cache in-trash out policy. Also feel free to visit the main grounds at 154 Ruckman Rd. I think most will find the center a beautiful place to go walking/fishing, etc. Also check out the volunteers site too: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/ClosterNatureCtrVolunteers/ ********************************** Most trails are across the street from the main grounds. The White Trail entrance is by the guardrail near the bridge. You can also visit the the CNC homepage & print out a trail map. Bushwacking is not necessary.
