Geocache Description:

Cache 1 of the Belchford-Fulletby round series. Please stick to footpaths.

After parking near the pub/post office turn left then immediately right down Dams Lane, you will then link up with the Viking Way. This cache provides coordinates A & E.

This series follows a 4.5 mile circular walk from Belchford to Fulletby and back again via a different route. You will traverse the Viking Way, cross a river, and see some spectacular views. The walk also proves Lincolnshire is definitely not flat. You will climb to 448ft above sea level, starting from 225ft. I completed this series after the floods, and during rain, the ground although wet is not flooded anywhere, there are no puddles and I didnt even get muddy, just wet (from rain). Throughout this series there is NO NEED TO LEAVE THE FOOTPATHS AT ANY POINT. The caches are all on the footpaths, or public rights of way. There is no need to pull anything up, or tear down trees, all caches can be reached by gently pushing aside grass/ivy, or moving small sticks. If you need to pull things up you are in the wrong place. Please enjoy the walks, and the scenery. You will pass several information boards telling you a bit about the local area and the buildings.

The series started off with various goodies across the set, first to find pins, found it pins, card games, toys etc:
