A small loc-n-loc camoed container - on protected private property
This cache is placed to honor my Grandfather Adams who annually fishes on the Matapedia River in Quebec. Here he enjoys fishing with his fellow Nova Scotians: Bill Curry, Gerald Smith, Paul d'Entremont, and a gang from Maine. This year was my first visit of hopefully many more to come.
Cette cache est dans un arbre pres de la Adams Pool. Contenant loc-n-loc avec petits objects et un nombre de mouches de salmon. We enjoy and appreciate the great hospitality of the locals as we all attempt to shatter our language barrier. This famous salmon pool is a favourite spot that many fishermen visit from many Countries each year.
Permission has been granted to place the cache here and will be under the watchful eye of the Pelletiers.
The campground owners welcome visitors and geocachers to visit the river and find the cache. BUT if you wish to access the cache without entering the campground, you may walk along the riverbank freely. If you wish to park beside the road and walk along the riverbank, there is a path near the little parking lot across the street a short distance before the actual campground. One may park there.
ATTENTION: Les visiteurs et les geocachers bienvenus de propriétaires de terrain de camping pour visiter le fleuve et pour trouver la cachette. MAIS si vous souhaitez accéder à la cachette sans entrer dans le terrain de camping, vous pouvez marcher le long du riverbank librement. Si vous souhaitez se garer près de la route et de la promenade le long du riverbank, il y a un chemin près du peu de sort de stationnement à travers la rue par distance courte avant le terrain de camping réel. On peut se garer là.
