Harbourside Park in downtown St. John's commemorates Sir Humphrey
Gilbert's landing at the site in 1583. It offers a fantastic view
of The Narrows. 2 large statues of a Newfoundland Dog and a
Labrador Retreiver are the centerpiece of this lovely little park
on the edge of a busy harbour. Sit down and enjoy the view or walk
around and see what the park has to offer.
Note: Cache has been muggled twice so we replaced it with a
nano. Hopefully it will last. Please sign with your initials only
since the log sheet is tiny.
This is our 4th cache. Since there will probably be muggles around
you will want to be careful when looking for and rehiding this
cache.
Happy caching, Joe & Karen.
