Located on the Morrison Slide Trail in Matthews / Winters Park with great views of Red Rocks Park. Just under 5 mi hike from the Matthews / Winters parking lot for the whole loop, but the views are worth the climb (500'). You can make a shorter hike from a Red Rocks Park trailhead.
This cache is in memory of our neice, Angela Crutchfield. She loved the arts so we thought a cache near Red Rocks Amphitheater would be a nice birthday present. The cache is a standard ammo box just a few steps off the trail (no scrambling needed). Original contents included items Angela enjoyed, including a soundtrack CD from one of her favorite Broadway plays as a FTF prize.
