Geocache Description:

Easy cache-n-dash. Along US 395 on the bridge that runs over Camas creek where it runs into the North Fork of the John Day River.

Bring your own writing instrument. This drive through the mountains is absolutley beautiful. You may see all different kinds of wildlife. There are several fishing and swimming holes along Camas creek and the North Fork. We have fished all up and down the North Fork and swam in several holes up the North Fork. They used to have raft races from the bridge that crosses the North Fork and ended at the Skull Canyon Bridge. This was about a 20 mile trip. It was a big deal and there were probably on the average of 50 rafts. It's a nice trip if you want to take the road down the North Fork. Hope you enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the area.
