Geocache Description:

Near Ridenour Overlook and Raystown Dam

Due to several replacements, this cache has become a nano/micro cache. The prize is now a nano container easily found.
We placed this one since it is a place we have been visiting for many years. The view of the dam and the surrounding mountains is superb from up here! As an added bonus there is a (broken) benchmark near the main overlook. Check it out too.

The park is free and it is open from dawn to dusk.

However, during the winter, there is a gate across the road to the parking lot. You can still hike to the cache, but it would be a long (~1.5 miles) and cold one! ;-)
