Two ways to get to this one. From Cool, follow the paved road
behind the fire station all the way until you go into the canyon,
then follow the Auburn/Cool trail down. Horses, mountain bikes,
hiking boots will all get you within feet of the cache.
From Auburn, you can't get to this
cache!Unless you cross the river by boat. Be very
careful if you swim for it, as it can be deceptively cold and
swift. Nearest crossing (for now) is the No-Hands bridge.
The trail that heads south down the canyon from this cache will
lead you very close to a very cool cache called
Mission Knickerbocker. That cache's owner said that after
taking this trail in that it is an easier way, although rock
scrambling at the end is still a part of that cache.
