Geocache Description:

Located adjacent to the Broad Brook Recreational Complex is a 2 million gallon concrete underground reservoir owned by the Town of Yarmouth. The reservoir was constructed in the 1970s after the original reservoir on the corner of Prospect Street and Pleasant Street (now Rotary Millennium Park) ceased to provide adequate service to the town. The underground reservoir ceased to operate after leaks developed which were undetectable and the construction of two gravity fed water towers was completed.
