Geocache Description:

UVCA Is short for Utah Valley Cacheaholics Anonymous

You are invited to attend the first ever Utah Valley Cacheaholics Anonymous Meeting. The Utah Valley Cacheaholics Anonymous Meeting is for those of you out there that may (or may not) have a geocaching problem, this is the event for you. This is a way to get out and meet Utah Valley cacher's and share stories from the trail. You don't have to be a Utah Valley resident to join us. Just come out and have some fun. If you have Travel Bugs or coins, bring them and trade with the other attendees. To log the cache, show up at the event between the hours of 4:30 and 9:00 and sign the Official Cacheaholics Anonymous (Not So Anonymous) Log Book. This event is family friendly. We know this on Labor Day weekend and the last big weekend of the summer. It's the only weekend we could hold it. Hopefully we have a bunch of Cachers show up anyway. I got this idea from my Geocaching friends in Idaho. If all goes well, we will be having UVCA "meetings" monthly. So come on out and confess to the world that YOU have a Caching problem. We are thinking BBQ and are open for suggestions. Keep an eye on the page for dinner and other updates.

I know this is Labor day weekend but we hope we get a great turn out.

OK we are just a few weeks away from the Event. Here is what we have decided for dinner. Princess Daisies and I will supply Hamburgers, Hot-dogs, Buns, fixins and a side dish. MomtheCook has very kindly volunteered to bring something as well. As for the raffle: Please bring an item that you would love to find in a Cache. You can either bring one item for your group or one item per member of your group this way Everyone will leave with something.
OK here we go with the final info before the Event. The Event starts at 4:30 Hotdogs and Hamburgers go on the grill at 5:30 If anyone would like to bring a potluck item to the Event it would be great. NOTE: It is not mandatory to bring ANYTHING!!! Hopefully Everyone who is attending will post a "will attend" so we get a good count. Also we have had some AWESOME stuff donated for the Raffle. If you would like to participate in the Raffle please bring an item you would like to find in a Cache. You will get one ticket for each item you bring. Thanks and we are excited to see everyone there.
