Chuck Walla: Greetings from Geocaching.com!

Since you have not responded to my reviewer log about your cache, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, I posted a note to your cache page requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and to send me a note. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that you are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Geocache Description:

See cache photos titled GATE. These should help you identify the correct "no trespassing sign". Thanks to everyone for using caution.
If you find the horse/game trail this will be an easy walk.

A little history
This cache is located on part of the old Aydelotte manganese mine near Cushman Arkansas. The Aydelotte tract consisted of about 680 acres
In 1890 there were three shafts, thirty-five, thirty-six, and forty-five feet deep. Several drifts in from the side of the hill were being worked. One drift ran 150 feet into the side of the hill.

This is some rough ground so watch your step. And of course there are snakes, ticks, and chiggers.

Park at the SILVER gate with the No Trespassing sign. This is our property and we have added an Official Geocache sticker with our contact information giving geocachers permission to enter, this is your invitation to climb the gate and go for it. The cache container is an ammo can full of stuff. FTF prize is an unactivated travel bug. There is also a Red Jeep Travel Bug ready to hit the road.

This is cache frindly property.

CONGRATULATIONS GEO DUO ON FTF (he is his mother's son)
