Geocache Description:

Version 4 of the TB Creek Retreat!!!

A Creekside retreat for Travel Bugs and Coins to take a rest as they pass through the Bluegrass.

This is a .50 CAL can located off of I64 on the outskirts of Frankfort. Depending on the amount of precipitation, this cache could become pretty tricky. The best approach is from Old Versailles Road to avoid the traffic on US 60. Please do not block the gravel driveways or mailboxes.

This cache is intended to be a drop-off and pick-up point for travel bugs entering or exiting central Kentucky. However, all are welcome to visit and trade. If you take a TB, please leave a TB. Its location makes it easily accessible and, when approached from the East, almost undetected by the passers-by on US 60.

If you're lucky, you'll have the chance to see the cows sunning by the fence.

Contents of replaced Cache:

  • Whistle TB
  • Misc. Army Patches and Pins
  • Teddy Bear Statuette
  • Poison Ivy Pen
  • Milton's Swingline Stapler TB
  • Nerf Mini-Football
  • UK and Louisville Bats Bottle Huggies

Have fun, enjoy the cache and keep your powder dry!

Congratulations to MM32 for his first FTF!!!
