Geocache Description:

The May 3, 1999, Oklahoma Tornado Outbreak was the first stage of a severe weather event that lasted from May 3 to May 6 and brought violent storms to Oklahoma. An F3 tornado hit the town of Stroud, in-between Oklahoma City and Tulsa on Interstate 44, destroying the Tanger Outlet Mall. The Tanger Outlet Mall had 44 stores, supplied the equivalent of 300 full-time jobs and accounted for half the city's sales taxes when the tornado destroyed it. The mall has not been rebuilt.

This cache is 18-Wheeler Friendly!!

Bring your own pencil - log only cache!!!
The cache container is a camo hid-a-key, with just enough room for a log book.
Was planning on hiding a nice sized ammo can to make it a TB Hotel, but that idea was canceled when I was stopped by the Stroud Police Dept.
Seems the area I was looking to hide the ammo can is a place where drug dealers frequent, and thus the nice long talk about Geocaching to the Kind Officer.
(not to worry the cache is not hidden in that area.)

I spent about 20 minutes explaining GeoCaching , CITO, TB's to the Sgt.  Gave him a brochure about geocaching and he said he would bring it up at the weekly meeting.
So when caching in Stroud, they will know what a GPS and Geocaching ( electronic treasure hunting) is.

first to find prize is an unactivate TB
