If you're a regular driver along here on the Sterling Highway, you'll recognize this oddity... Not a challenging hide, just a challenge to you to stop and enjoy the pullout!
The cache was christened with a visit from a famous comedian!
The coordinates are for the cache - not the marker! The cache is hidden 24 paces SW of the marker. Ponder the message, but don't disturb the area - instead focus your search on the edge of the treeline at the center top of the road cut. This won't be very easy to access in the wintertime...
Park in the small turnout on the SE side of the highway. Many fishermen use this and other turnouts along upper Quartz Creek to access the fine fishing to be had along the creek. Exercise caution crossing the roadway to reach this cache - there's plenty of line of sight to cross safely.
