Valencia County Cachers, and anyone else in our world, who would like to meet the rest of the folks in and around or orbiting about our realm of geocaching.
Beginning at 11:30 a.m. at The Rail Cafe by the Belen RailRunner station, this is a chance to meet and greet our growing community of cachers and those that love us. It will also be a chance to see what Suz55TBird has in the works for her upcoming Valencia County Fun Day, and see if we can offer her our collective or individual help (and maybe get some inside scoop, too!) Any other newsy tidbits will be welcome as well.
Having attended other meet-n-greet events in other locales, I figured we should have one of our own. It brings another level to our sport, as well as contacts and connections that may help any one of us from having to log a DNF. Y'all DO log your DNF's, don't you?? ;)
Tom Greer, the owner of the cafe, is estatic that we shall be gathering at his place. He has great food, snacks and drinks for those of you who wish to induldge.
We'll have info for you on The Valencia Fun Day, some geocoins and TBs to discover and, maybe, just maybe, we can get Tom or myself to drop some hints on finding my Bethelem cache located close by. Maybe.
Log your intentions about attending in the usual manner, if you would, please, and I'll give Tom an estimate based on the responses by 7/20/07.
