This large micro cache is located on the right side of a very busy road that brings South Center shoppers up the steep hill toward the airport. A nice pull off awaits you just before you reach the bridge. (If you are traveling down the hill, it is best to make a U turn after you cross the bridge and come back up the hill.) You can grab the cache and relax in your cache mobile while you sign the log.
The bridge has been open to one way traffic ONLY since last winter (2007) due to a truck traveling South on I-5 carrying a high load resulting in damage to one side of the bridge. The traffic signal has been removed. Now passengers can cautiously travel both ways. The repairs are not completed but the long waiting lines are no longer a thorn. We are placing this cache in celebration. It is your common ordinary cache that you frequently see. Elevation 265. In order to maintain the integrity of the cache please use utmost stealth so that the casual passerby will not be aware of your quest. Enjoy! Please replace cache carefully so that it is not visible. March 29,2008 Repairs are underway so we are back to one way traffic. Who knows how long this will last?????? Hopefully we will be pleasantly surprised and we will soon be back to two-way traffic once again!!!
