This is the State Wide meeting of the SCGA for
July 2007
The August 4, 2007 SCGA
Statewide Meeting will be held at Flannigans Ice cream Shop, 912
Dougherty Rd, Aiken SC at 7:00 PM.
Earlier in the morning, there will
be a CITO event at
Langley Pond, held by
Salutations. After the CITO, we will meet at the
Foxchase Pool for a pot luck
lunch. Please note what you plan to bring. For those
that can't make the CITO, please join us at 11:00 AM for a great
lunch.
UOTrackers Ancient has also put together a great cache event
called "I'm Aiken 2 Race" which will start immediately after the
pool party at 2:30. At the end of this busy caching day in and
around Aiken will be our Monthly meeting, and UOTrackers' 2nd
Annual Ice Cream Social.
We'll
meet up at Flanigan's, a local family ice cream shop, for the fun.
If
the weather is good
there's a nice yard with lots of chairs, picnic tables and
benches. If your bringing the kids feel free to bring a
blanket to sit out on, I will be! There could be mosquito's so
I'll try and have some spray with me! If the weather isn't so
great, there is a room inside, small but it's
there.
For those of you with
other scheduled obligations that day, please note that you are
more then welcome to come and go as you please. This will be a
bunch of fun events to meet fellow Cachers from all over the
state. As always, raffle prizes, TBs, coins, etc...are
welcome. SCGA T-Shirts will also be available for
purchase.
Aiken is full of caches both easy and hard, with
some interesting places to see along the way. Pack up the whole
family and make it a Mega Mini Event in Aiken Day!
