An island on Smith Mountain Lake, in the area of the damn.
imfirstdue gets FTF! Congrats!
Recently recieved reports of stinging insects (possibly bee's) use due caution.
This is a childs juice container, housing a weather tight micro cache, containing a log. A small item can be placed in the jug. You will need to bring a pencil to sign the log. Please return the cache exactly as you found it. Every inch of this island is picked over for firewood so the cache is hidden well. Additionally, you may have a difficult time finding this without the watchful eyes of an island camper spotting you. My sugestion would be a stealthy beach entry. This cache has a higher terrain rating due to the fact that you will need a boat to access it. It is placed on public land and you can even camp for free on the island if you like. There is a beach where you can moor your boat. Use caution in the summer as this is a high boat traffic area with lots of shallow water near by.
PS. Dont touch any of the "white stuff" you will see what I mean when you get out there....
