Geocache Description:

Walk or ride your bike down to Belden Bog, located in Green's beautiful Southgate Park. The bog is located near the L.J. Hartong barn built in 1883 and the family farm house. Or detour around the backside of the barn to catch a few fish in the catch and release pond. Then onward to the lock-n-lock container hidden along the Belden Bog trail in Southgate Park in Green, OH.

Park your car in Boettler Park only - there is no other parking available for Southgate. Do not park on Mt. Pleasant Road or at the southern park entrance - this is for service vehicles only, and your car may be towed! Suggested parking coordinates are below. Please observe all park rules – the park closes at dusk. By all means bring your bug spray! Also bring thorn protection! Also bring your dog!!!! Mutt Mitts are available at the Southgate Park entrance from the Boettler parking lot. Please note that dogs are NOT permitted in Boettler Park.
