Geocache Description:

You are looking in Black Hawk State Historic Site for a micro (a little larger than usual) camouflaged to look like an object in the environment. Cache is within one foot of the trail - no bushwacking is needed.

Waterfallfrog used to live near Black Hawk State Park (now Black Hawk State Historic Site), and as a child almost lived there hiking the trails. Toto1 as a child took weekly "trash out" hikes to the park from grandma's house. The park, voted one of the "7 Wonders of Illinois" is filled with historical monuments, a statue of Black Hawk, the Watchtower Lodge, the Hauberg Indian Museum, and the Civilian Conservation Corps museum. You may want to visit those places while you are in the park. (See the site's website at http://www.blackhawkpark.org/ )

There were no caches in the park on the river side of the highway, so we are placing some there. Permission to place the cache was obtained from the Black Hawk State Historic Site.

These are our first caches we've placed, so feedback would be appreciated. This is the first of 4 caches we are placing now, inspired by BGT's "7 in '07". Cache contains 2 new gold dollars for the first 2 finders.
