A multi-cache among the trails of the Lloyd Center in South Dartmouth
A great new multi-cache for all ages.
Located in the Lloyd Center in Dartmouth, MA this simple cache takes you along the trails and brings you to special points.
Stage one is an area known for woodland raptors (Hawk, Owl).
Stage Two may surprise you with an actual raptor nearby! The clue is not near the holding pen. It is on the opposite side of the trail from her cage.
Stage three should be accompanied by birding glasses to view the Osprey's nest across the river.

In addition to its trails the Lloyd Center has a wonderful science center full of exhibits. Do not miss the Osprey observatory on the top floor!
Visitor Center Hours
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
November - April: Tuesday - Saturday
May – October: Tuesday - Sunday
Closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas & New Year's Days.
The Center's trails are open and free to the public, dawn to dusk, 365 days/year.

History
The Lloyd Center’s 55-acres of estuary and maritime forest in South Dartmouth was donated to the Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust (DNRT) in 1978 by Karen Lloyd as a living memorial to her mother, Katharine Nordell Lloyd. Originally a residence, our main building is a four-story modern structure which overlooks Buzzards Bay and the Slocums River estuary. Because of its unparalleled beauty, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs has identified the Lloyd Center’s property as one of the state’s 15 “Special Places.”
