This is my
homage to the first cache I ever found, GCJ7DN, the original
"Walk Ye the Planks", which was less than a quarter mile from
my house. It was muggled over two years ago, and I've been
kicking around the idea of doing something like it ever since,
so, here it is!
Here's the Puzzle:
On the original
Walk Ye the Planks, how many planks did you count from the end
of the footbridge to where the cache was hidden?
Now triple that number. That's the number of planks from the
end of the bridge you count.
You are looking for a small green plastic box (aka:
decon container) hidden on or around the long footpath bridge
near the posted coordinates. The path is busy with
walkers/joggers/bikers at various times during the day, so stealth
(or at least a plausible cover story) will be needed. The trailhead
for the path leading you to the cache is located off Wood Elves Way
(see waypoint below). Stay on the paved path heading south until
you reach
the long, wooden footpath bridge.
PLEASE replace the cache container back
exactly as it was found so the next cache may enjoy the
challenge!
