Located along a popular hiking trail in Hope, Alaska. The cache
is a small ammo box, placed about a mile from the trailhead.
Gull Rock Trail is an old wagon road built in the late 1920s.
The trail begins at the far end of Porcupine Campground in Hope,
and parallels Turnagain Arm west for 5.1 miles (10.2 miles round
trip). The trail leads through birch and spruce forests and has
great views of Turnagain Arm. Wildlife is abundant; Watch for
bears, moose, whales and birds.
