High above the Root River, located on State Forest Land, a short hike from Highway 1.
This cache is located in a scenic area that contains a lot of wildlife such as deer and squirrels. The cache zone is located on top of a bluff, although approach to it is almost flat. This area could be slippery when wet, so please BE CAREFUL. It's a long way down; I'm not sure anyone would be able to find/rescue you. Rated 1.5 for canopy interference, although the cache is an easy find. It's not about the find-it's about the views. Feel free to explore the area. Note that there's a NO TRESPASSING sign and gate down the dirt road about 1/3 mile,but there is a trail that leads back to Hwy 1, south the parking area. Parking available by kiosk at N43.53.916 W 92.24.535
