Irvine 2 Flats - Warren's First Letterbox

We wanted to place a letterbox cache in Warren County. We
were energized to make it happen when our friends gave us gifts
celebrating our 3k find. The stamp and pad in this cache were given
to us by kickin' and kachekat. The cache meets the listing
guidelines of the ANF.

The listed coordinates are for the location of the container.
From the parking area cross an old railroad
bridge.
On your right just past the bridge there is a large mound of dirt
at the front of a trail leading to the Allegheny River
Walk that trail until you are within sight of the Allegheny
River
A trail follows to the left along the river. Walk that trail. If
you look closely, you may see a variety of ducks on the river
When you come to a point where the trail divides, continue
straight.
On your right along this trail, old stone steps will lead you
toward the cache.
At the base of the steps, to your left is the icehouse of the
Newbold Estate.
To your right you will see a log. Search that log and you will
find what you seek.
