The cache is located in the Salzachtal, the valley of upper streams
of the river Salzach.
No cars are allowed in the Salzachtal. There are two option to
access the cache location:
- Park near N 47° 15.070' - E 12° 08.265' (old road to Wald). There
is a dirt road leading to the cache location. This road is also
allowed for mountin bikes.
- Park near N 47° 15.124' - E 12° 07.459' in Königsleiten and
follow the signs to the Salzachtal. This is a more beautifull hike,
although it is more up- and downhill walking and can only be used
when the area is free of snow. Else use the first option. Off-road
the path is marked with red/white signs. Strollers can not take
this option.
The cache is located on private property with permission of the
owner. The cache is accessable all year around, although snow might
prevent in the winter time access to the cache location.
Near the cache location a tour around the Salzachtal starts. It
provides you a great view of this valley. If you're interested
follow the signs "Salzachtalrundweg" and the red/white marks. Below
