Shrek Real Estate Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

reedkickball: I'm going to kill this geocache. I'm trying to kill some of the high maintenance geocaches that don't get a lot of visits so that I can possibly create some new caches.

Geocache Description:

This is a mutli-cache that requires you to find 6 vitual digits in order to get the coordinates for the final. This is in a swamp. Therefore, be prepared for a swamp. In summer, that means, expect mosquitoes. All times of year, it could be mean wet and muddy conditions. Good luck, and have fun. If you have any issues, don't hesitate to contact me.

There is no cache at the initial coords, they are for parking. This cache is mostly a virtual cache with a physical final (small size) at the end. It's located within Julie J Metz Park. This park has a bunch of trails. The trails are very wide, and very easy to walk. There are a lot of nice views of the swamp, with some raised platforms over wet areas. The park has a lot of informative facts about the swamp. So take lots of pictures, and upload them! This cache will require no bushwhacking except for the final. you'll have to go down an informal trail (which eventually leads to a old duck blind). The final is located and accessible close to the path. To find the cache, it should be about 4 feet up in a tree. Please put the top back on tightly. Thanks

To find the final, you must travel the park and answer the following questions at the following locations below

The final uses the following sequence from the answers
38 36.ABC
77 16.DEF

To do this all at once, you'll probably walk about a mile and a half. You can go to each spot in any order, but the fastest possible way, is probably in this order:
B-C-F-E-A-D

The trailhead for the trail to the final (which is a much narrower trail, almost bushwhacking, but a definite path) is located within the park .Subtract .009 from Latitude, and add .045 to the Longitude from your calculated final location to get the start of the trailhead. I haven't been to the end, but if someone does let me know what's at the end.

If you need to have your coords checked, please contact me

Nebasco Creek/Inlet used to be deep enough to be used as a landing(i.e. the name "Rippon Landing"). Extra points if you can email me what what happened in colonial times that made this area a swamp. (Hint: It's in the Park literature available at the parking lot.)
