Geocache Description:

A magnetic key holder hidden at the top observation tower in Middle Harbor Shoreline Park. Take in the view of the city and then find the cache.

The site of Middle Harbor Shoreline Park is over a mile from Oakland natural shoreline. For over sixty years the Western Pacific Railway and the U.S. Navy have kept this area off limits to the public.

Now this 38 acre park provides a special place for learning about the history and maritime activities of the area and an opportunity for viewing shoreline wildlife in native habitats. Off to the north is Port View Park.
