This Travel Bug Hotel and Coin Bank is #8 in a series of Caches designed to be done on the lunch hours of those working in downtown Cincinnati (Of course all are welcome to find). You can walk across the city (or drive) to find each of these cahces. These caches tend to be hidden in high traffic areas, please use stealth when searching.
This cache was inspired by all of those convention goers from out of town who were looking for a place to drop off Travel Bugs during their trip. The other micro caches in down town Cincinnati didn't provide many options. This cache is a regular size cache and is across the street from the Cincinnati Convention center.

This Cache is placed in very high traffic area. Please use extream stealth when finding this cache. Also, please be respectful to the surroundings of the cache. Beware of the residentialy challenged that may be in the area.

Memorial to Firefighters (1968)
This figurative sculpture is dedicated to all Cincinnati firefighters whose lives have been lost in active service. Driesbach, Art Academy of Cincinnati faculty member, created the sculpture using a local firefighter as the model. The memorial was based upon an earlier design by Fire Lieutenant Paul B. Kathmann who was killed in the line of duty two years before its Memorial Day dedication in 1968.
