Are you lost? Well then, just consult the Southgate Park map you will find in this general area! This is a no-apologies micro that is meant for those who can't or don't want to walk way off into the Southgate Park woods, but at least I got you to the park! If you decide to try a trail or two, you'll see from the map that there are plenty of trails to choose from. Here's a preview: (visit link) If you're a horse lover, visit the Summit County Sherriff Mounted Unit located in this park.

Park your car in Boettler Park only - there is no other parking available for Southgate Park. Suggested parking coordinates are below. Please replace the container and its cover carefully so that it will be there for the next person. You will need to bring your own writing implement. Stealth will often be required! Please observe all park rules – the park closes at 9:00 pm or 1/2 hour after sunset, whichever comes first.

Great News! Effective Sep 2008, Southgate Park is now permitting leashed dogs on a trial basis!! Mutt Mitts are available at the park entrance from the Boettler parking lot. Please note that dogs are still not permitted in Boettler Park.

Update 12-29-08, changed the difficulty rating based on the number of DNFs since new, and reevaluated under the Geocache Rating System.
