Geocache Description:

Cache is a small ammo can near a stream.

I always wondered where Big Sioux Road went, so one day I turned south off of County Road 114 west of Baltic to find out. You would think that Big Sioux Road would follow the Big Sioux River, but in fact, it follows an obscure stream that eventually empties into the Big Sioux north of 253rd Street. The road then turns east and meets up with Ditch Road. Unfortunately, this last section of the road is closed.

I found a made-to-order ammo can hiding place. It is just off the road, but you will need to walk through STINGING NETTLE (Itch Weed) during the summer months. Please wear long pants!
