Sit a spell and admire the water, the landscaping, and the sculpture in this small little plaza in the middle of the Parkway in Richland.
A small plaque nearby says this plaza is dedicated in memory of Carol Woodruff, a family friend. Amazing, the things you discover while on a cache hunt, either to find one, or to place one.
Update on the Plaza 7-21-08 They have now placed some nice photos and dedication info about Carol on the Triangle information sign, which also happens to be very near the cache hide spot. It probably got relocated when they were fixing up the sign..
