cincol: This is a sad day indeed for me. This was my FIRST cache that I ever placed! It will always have a soft spot for me. I often would come to this area to check the cache and to admire the birds - especially the flamingoes - whenever I was in the vicinity.

Geocache Description:

Beautiful mangrove swamps rich in birdlife. Take binoculars with. Recommend 4X4 vehicle, but not essential. Rainy season could be a problem.

This cache has a wildlife theme and can be found in a Quality Street tin [now replaced with an ice cream container due to corrosion]. Original contents were :- TB "The Snitch", Toyota keyring from South Africa, 2 x SA coins, Lion, Hippo, Giraffe, Pink Barbie pencil sharpener, Pen and Logbook
