Palermo West Woods Traditional Cache
Freelancer: Turns out I needed to archive this one afterall. Did a second check this afternoon with my son and it is definitely missing. We even checked the fort that the kids were building to see if they were stashing the cache there. Decided to archive and place 2 new caches instead of replacing this one. Thanks to all that visited.... lets hope those 2 TBs turn up somehow!

Located in the Palermo West neighbourhood of Oakville in a woodlot off of the Crosstown Trail (Pipeline Trail). Very easy bushwack from the trail or street (Colonel William Parkway) in this relatively mature forest.
This woodlot (unnamed at this time) has been spared from the rampant urban sprawl in this area. The neighbourhood is known locally as Bronte Creek, but the Town Of Oakville calls it Palermo West. The neighbourhood sits partially atop the former Richview Golf Course and abuts Bronte Creek Provincial Park. In fact, there are some houses that have backyards right next to campsites. This woodlot, and the one on the other side of the Crosstown Trail, connect with Bronte Creek Provincial Park.
The cache is a medium sized cache. Original contents include: disposable camera, watch, mitten clips, airplane headset and 2 TBs.
Don't mind the fence along the street.. it is not there to keep you out, it is there to keep the construction debris from getting into the woodot.
