RicknJoy: This area has changed a lot after the Highway 72 construction! I retrieved the container today - the nearest parking is across the sometimes-busy 4-lane road, so it's no longer a suitable place for a geocache.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Ridgeview Park in Rolla.

Ridgeview Park is a small (4.3 acre) semi-developed park in a residential neighborhood. It was purchased by the city in 1959. There is a nice playground for the kids, but much of the park is still a work in progress. The land past the playground is wooded and rough - of course, that's where we put the cache!

The cache is a small Rubbermaid container with various swag items. We've determined that it's easier to circle around to find it than to try to go directly to it.

This cache has been placed with permission from the Rolla Parks Department. If you're from elsewhere, please note in your logs where you come from. Thanks!
