Arrgh Matey! This be for the true buccaneers. Ye can use a new fangled machine to approach the treasure, but the last 2 miles and 1,000 feet of the journey will be by foot.
Ye approach this booty by driving north out of Conconully onto NFS 38. Continue on past Cottonwood and Oriole campgrounds, to the right will be NFS 3810. TAKE IT! Travel this winding road until ye reach FS 200, also to the right. TAKE IT! Continue on your journey until ye reach the end. See the gate? This be FS 210. Now the walking begins. As ye walk and walk and walk, ye will cross such obstacles as cattle guards and one other gate. But when ye reach the end of your travails the reward will be worth it. Besides the lookout, there be an old crowsnest lookout in a tree nearby. The treestand [crowsnest] was built in 1914 and one of the oldest still around. The tower which is 14' x 14' and 40' high was built in 1943. Plunder On!
