The Simpsons Family Cache on the River Traditional Cache

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. This cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable. Since there has been no update with maintenance plans from the cache owner I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting. If not, please pick up any remaining pieces/parts of the cache before they become geolitter.

Geocache Description:

The terrain is by a shallow river, but the banks by the river can get very steep.

This cache is "Simpsons" themed, and is in a rubbermaid container. The cache at the beginning includes a log book, a water bottle holder, a pin, dice, and other interesting things. Bring a Pen with you. There is varied wildlife in this area including muskrat, turtle, woodchuck,ducks, crane, and much more. There is not parking right by the cache, so you may have to either park on the near-by street, or the near-by apartment parking lot. This is definantly a CITO cache.
