George G. Newton Traditional Cache
EclectEcon: Well, after losing a third cache at this site, I think it is time to give up on it. We'll let it rest a bit and then maybe put one like it a bit farther off the trail.

The George G. Newton Nature Reserve has a very nice loop trail with
a spur at the far end, leading to a creek. The cache is only about
a tenth of a mile or so along the loop, but unless you're in a
hurry, after you find the cache, the rest of the loop is a nice
hike and not too long. You can go on from here to find George G.
Newton #2. Park at N43 39.687, W081 39.687
The trail is well off the beaten path and well off the major roads,
and so it would verge on being overgrown at times, but the Huron
Fringe Field Naturalists have done a terrific job of maintaining
the trail anyway. The cache is a small camouflage-taped, 4-lock
clear plastic container with a blue-trimmed plastic lid.
