Geocache Description:

This cache is at a high point in the park 490 feet above sea level. It is within 10 metres of two of the paths. Cache is a 15cm tab lock plastic box, wrapped in a green plastic bag. Follow the paths and see the views. Requires climbing 490 feet on paths.

The cache was placed to let people see the splendid views across the harbour of Belfast and the cranes of H&W and over the section were the Titanic was built. Truely remarkable sights can be seen from here the sun setting or the mist just suspended above the harbour. Across the bay carrickfergus can be seen. The path is quite steep in places but no climbing gear is required. there are plenty of chairs to rest upon as the path zig zags up the hill and across many bridges. The crow would have some trouble if he wanted to go a direct route. Keep to the paths and admire the many changing views.

To find the cache you will have to walk through the park. The paths are well marked and are hard surfaced.

Car Parks are available on the old Holywood Road.

The cache was placed on 20 July 2007 there are many articles init including 2 luxury items for the first 2 people to find it. The first person who tells me the little boys name will get the firt to find certificate.
