Geocache Description:

Second stage of HikingBare's Den - deep in the woods!

The listed coordinates are not the final location for this cache. To find it, you first need to visit the relocated HikingBare's Den.

The cache is an ammo box, and may be hard to locate because of the tree cover. Below is a photograph of a tree within the general area of the cache. You can reach this tree on a reasonable track by following the main footpath where it turns down the hill. After that, you're on your own, though the clue may help a little!

Note that it is possible, with care, to locate the cache without trampling all over the bracken; please don't make it too easy for the next person or the hordes of dog walkers in the area.

As with stage 1, watch out for steep drops in the area and gaps in the rocks hidden by the bracken (at least, in what we laughingly call "summer").

Please make sure you replace the cache fully in its hiding place - you need to get the angle just right.
