Geocache Description:


Spooner Wisconsin is an old railroad town. The trains no longer haul freight through town but there is a tourist train and museum. Read about the history of this important industry to our area. Stealth will be required during the busy summer season. This micro contains a logbook and pencil and may not be winter friendly. The volunteers at the museum seem to know about the cache, but are not directly involved in GeoCaching. It would be best to hunt for it before or after museum hours. Museum is open from Memorial day through Labor day. Cache was relocated on Sept.11th 2022.
