Everyone is invited to join the crew at Serloin Stockade, Galesburg,IL. 9:00AM Saturday August 25th.
buffet is $6.49 plus tax. The fun is free.
Anyone that knows me has it figured out that I can't find a cache on my own. I always invite a group. We have had a blast. I thought it was about time to invite everyone.
There will be several new caches to log thanks to Lasermom, Handyman, S10, Team Wumpus, Hallsweeper, Drtmn, Sundownerbeech, Honeyfield, and Red. I might even hide a few more. (I'll ad to the list if anyone wants to join the fun ... who can place the most before the event?) Everyone attending is encouraged to plant a cache before or after the event.
There will be no temp caches to argue about.
I have permission from the public works director Larry Cox to place caches in any park in Galesburg. Please follow the normal caching rules. Please include a note to thank him for letting us use his parks for our fun on any cache placed.
If you place a cache please ask the reviewer to hold off till 8/24 to publish your treasure.
BGT will have a display of micros. Everyone is encouraged to bring clever containers to display. There will also be a table for Travel bugs and coins to swap.
I will be sending off my personal coin (TB1EEXQ) to anyone that is willing to accept the challenge. 200 coins in 200 days. (we will draw numbers from a hat if there is more than one)
We will have a drawing for door prizes.
