Tyle mniej wiecej zostalo.
[ENG]Cellar in the forest
It's all that is left. Village of Nowa Biela (Neu Bielendorf) sprouted from the nearby Bielice (Bielendorf) probably somewhere in XVI century. At the XIXth and XXth it consisted of several houses and a wooden chapel with a larch belltower.
After removing of German inhabitants in 1945 the village remained unpopulated. For a few years houses had been disassembled for the building stone or firewood (the wooden chapel included). Today the remains of some foundations and the very cellar are the only witnesses of the late settlement.
Of things interesting: the terrain around the sources of Biala Ladecka (Landecke Biele) is a fine target for bike excursions, as there are numerous asphalt roads in the forest used for hauling logs. Lots of elks hoard around the bushes. The green trail will lead you through the Sycamore Wood reservation, where Marianne Oranje-Nassau ordered her hunting cottage to be put up, while being sent away to Stronie Slaskie after some infamous affair with an equerry.
Cache holds logbook and pencil (not for trade), a porcelain dog and two coins.
