Geocache Description:

From the Jubilee Pub go up the steps and you are on your way.

Cache is a Plastic box containing when left, log and pen and pencil, fimo snail, gold bell on ribbon, football keyring and Brinsop geobug.

From the cache site you will have a good view to your right over Rochdale and of the quarries in Milnrow, to your left you will see Dunwood Park and beneath you is Red Dick Wood (also known as Jubilee Nature Reserve) which is the site of mines and coke ovens. This area is a good spot of picking blackberries and wimberries at the right time of year, if you fancy some doing some fishing carry on a little further along the path and you will see a nice spot to do some free fishing.

This is a good cache to do at the same time as Pingot Quarry the walk between the 2 over the hills is very pleasant.
